I also like prequels because they’re usually a quick read to get a glimpse of a character before committing to the series. I like stories about strong, competent, female FBI agents and Maggie O’Dell, sounded like a good MC. Having added the Ryder Creed series to my list, I thought I would check out this prequel to see if it interested me as well. This is a prequel to the Maggie O’Dell series, which I discovered was where the Ryder Creed series was spun off from. I am still looking forward to a more current Maggie O’Dell book.
